One Mind Accelerator
One Mind is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing mental health through science, innovation and workplace programs. Its accelerator brings together a cohort of 12 to 16 mental health startups each year, typically 30 to 40 founders, for programming that runs from an in-person Opening Week to a closing Demo Day. According to One Mind, Accelerator companies have reached more than 860,000 people and raised more than $1 billion in follow-on funding.
Starting with the Founders
One Mind first brought in KBD founder Katie Bush in 2023 as a speaker, working with the cohort on their investor pitches throughout the program. The following year, One Mind asked KBD to take on the Accelerator’s design and event management, and we have supported every program since. KBD is now working on the 2027 program, its fifth year with the Accelerator.
Two Weeks of Onsite Support
The Accelerator’s two in-person weeks take place at Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. Each week includes programming for the cohort with dozens of mentors, investors and guests, and Demo Day draws close to 200 attendees. KBD designs the room and the full event experience around it, including invitations, the program guide, signage, stage materials and founder collateral. We also run the onsite logistics for both weeks, which lets One Mind’s internal team focus on the founders and their guests.
